  • Playful Progress is intentionally an out-of-network provider for all major insurance companies. This means that I do not directly accept insurance. Our goal is to help your child achieve their goals without limits, especially those put in place by private insurance companies in regards to number of approved visits and when those visits can be utilized.

As a direct-access, cash-based provider, Playful Progress is able to offer immediate access to quality physical therapy services without cost surprises or restrictions. Our pricing is transparent from the start.

While we do not directly accept insurance, we will create a SuperBill or invoice upon request if you wish to submit for reimbursement through your insurance. Reimbursement is unique to your insurance company and not guaranteed.

  • No, you do not. In the state of New Hampshire, patients can access physical therapy directly WITHOUT orders or a referral from a medical doctor. However, a medical doctor’s order may be required by your insurance to submit for reimbursement.

  • Payment is due at time of service with rates clearly outlined in intake paperwork. Playful Progress accepts credit cards, debit cards, and payment via our Venmo business account.

Playful Progress accepts HSA/FSA funds, and can process payments with credit/debit cards you may have associated with these accounts.

  • A superbill is an itemized receipt for the services you received at your appointment. It shows proof of your payment along with important details your insurance company will want to know about your child’s visit like diagnosis codes, treatment codes, and provider information.

A superbill is used to submit for possible reimbursement for Out-Of-Network services. Playful Progress is an Out-Of-Network provider will all insurances. Reimbursement will vary between insurance plans.

  • Most insurance companies make this fairly easy! You can typically submit your superbill by logging into your insurance provider's member portal and uploading it directly, mailing it to the claims address listed on your insurance card, or calling member services and asking them to walk you through the process.
